Volleyball was introduced into the school by Mr Noone
in the 1970's and it was embraced by both students and teachers alike.
However, the growth and advance of volleyball within the school began
with Mr Noone's successor Mr John King.
Through a lot of hard work and
dedication Mr King continued to produce high class volleyball teams.
Drumshanbo now holds a very impressive record of achievements throughout all
levels of competition right up to All Ireland Finals.
