9 Vocational School art students accompanied by Ms Kearns and their teacher Mr.Rooney spent the weekend at a cross border art project in Belfast. The project was sponsored by Encompass. It invoved a workshop with Northern pupils and the theme was the Children of Lir. Other activities included a tour of the city, ice skating, a cinema trip, bowling and shopping. The tour included the "Titanic Quater", the peace wall between the Falls and Shankill including a study of the wall Murals on both sides. The trip was enjoyed by all students except the minor problem of the bus breaking down, twice!
