The school raised €1600 from their concert in the Mayflower and this money was donated to the Niall Melon Fund that constructs homes for the poor in South Africa.  Two of the workmen going to South Africa came to our school and received the cheque for €1600.  Pictured below are the 4th year girls along with Miss Watson, Mrs Fitzpatrick and the two volunteer workmen.
