The Senior girls got their campaign off to a winning
start and let by a considerable amount at the end of the first half,
Drumshanbo 4 - 2, Charlestown 3 points. Captained by Siobhán Kelly, the
girls kept their form up and with fantastic play by Tara Evans the
Connacht quater Final seemed to be in their grasp. By full time the
girls trained by Ms. Kearns and Lucy Kelly had strolled by their
comptetition to win the Connacht Quarter Final. This team has gone
further in the compeition than any other Drumchanbo VS Girls football
team.
