The Connacht Finals of the Track & Field took place in glorious weather in the Dangan track, Galway City.  Representing DVS were the Tighe sisters, Aine and Niamh.  Aine put in two excellent performances, finishing second in both the 300m hurdles and 80m hurdles.  She qualified for the All-Ireland finals in both events.  Niamh put in very solid efforts in her two events - 200m and 75m hurdles but didn't qualify.
