Over the last few weeks, Drumshanbo ran a competition to design a logo for the town.  There was a fantastic response with over 300 entries.  The competition was divided into 4 categories :- under 5 years, 6 - 11 years, 12 - 18 years and over 18.  With help from our Art teacher, Mr Rooney, some students from DVS entered logos.  A prize giving ceremony took place in the Ramada Hotel, Drumshanbo, with 3 prizes in each category.  In the 12 - 18 years category, the winner was our own Janelle O'Donnell with Shauna Maguire coming second, so well done to the two girls.
